A life-long learner, Camille is always enrolled in a course somewhere. She holds a B.A. in English Literature and Religious Studies with a minor in Creative Writing and Philosophy. Her M.A. is in Strategic Communications and her thesis was on the importance of Creation/Nature in the creative and cognitive development of children.
With over 20 years of professional experience, Camille has a unique career path which bridges higher education, sales and marketing, and nonprofit development. In each role, she has shared her heart for storytelling and the importance it holds in connecting people, product and purpose. As a fulltime writer, Camille is now living out her truest calling—to write.

When my son asked this question, I wasn't sure how to respond, because for me poetry is like breathing... and how does one "begin" a breath?
Lyrics—be it a stanza in a Frost poem or the bridge of a country song—have always been my soul's love language.
Each word formed around a moment or memory, the color of a leaf or the slant of the sun... these images are always the beginning,
then I find the words.
